Atlanta Bug Fix MAYBE!!!

If you check out the "Track Text files"  - Atlanta.txt, Michigan.txt,
etc. you will notice three extra lines at the end of the Atlanta.txt
file. These are:
PCARL  5  0
PTICK  0  30
PBRKS  60 50

If you REM out these lines
REM PCARL 5  0
REM PTICK  0  30
REM PBRAKS 60 50

The cars seem to pit on the yellow instead of waiting for the green.
I've tried it  only TWICE at lap 35 and 40 (caused a caution - wreck)
and the lead cars came in like they should!!
Only Papyrus knows???  why the three extra lines are there (bug fix?)
But until I run into another problem, they are history. PS Why haven't
they posted a repair yet? I'ts not slowing sales???
are in the Atlanta.txt file but

: If you check out the "Track Text files"  - Atlanta.txt, Michigan.txt,

: file. These are:
: PCARL  5  0
: PTICK  0  30
: PBRKS  60 50

: If you REM out these lines
: REM PCARL 5  0
: REM PTICK  0  30
: REM PBRAKS 60 50

Actually the 2 tracks are Atlanta & Martinsville.  But that's minor,
they are both "M" tracks. ;-)

I left the PCARL & PBRAKS as they are and reversed the order of the
numbers for PTICK in Atlanta:

PTICK 30 0

I don't think the 30 plays a role, but the last number does need to be 0
to make the AI pit right under yellow.  This did the trick.  I tried a 5
and other numbers for the last number.  5 made most everybody pit but
then 5-10 would decide to do the "fake" pit routine.

Thanks for taking the time to break that down, and yes I did
find the lines in Martinsville (mentioned in a prev post ). But only
papy knows why these lines are in these text files. I guess they were
trying to fix some other problem??  There is at least 1 text file with
mirror lines in it also. Blind spot????

Jim Sokoloff has already explained how the Pxxxx lines "got left" in the
2 track.txt files.  I am pretty sure that the mirror lines got left
intentionally.  As you may have read there was a big debate at Papyrus
as to how the mirrors should actually look like in the final release.  I
assume that one of the engineers felt we should have the ability to
"tweak" them to our own liking.  This person even left his signature,
sorta a "Kilroy was here" -- REM BIGHD ;) [BigHead?] [Bet I Get Hell 'n

Need a "BIG Hard Drive" for the full install...  :)

Before you send me UCE, I know what you're thinking...  Did he complain
to five or six postmasters last month?  Now, you must ask yourself one
question: "Do I feel lucky?"  Well, do you, punk?
