NOLFB for the latter. Sound works, fps is very acceptable with maxed
graphics, and my black MOMO works. However, there is a hiccup: my MOMO
is spiking on all axis' (and somewhat in sync, it seems), enough to
cause the car to swerve unexpectedly towards the wall. Unfortunately,
there's no way to set a dead zone inside of VDMS or either titles.
Does anybody out there have any recommendations for settings in the VDMS
INI? Is there a sweet spot? In the joystick section I have:
[Joystick Controller]
CLSID = EmuJoystick.JoystickCtl
Path = EmuJoystick.dll
[Joystick Controller.depends]
VDMSrv = VDMServicesProvider
[Joystick Controller.config]
port = 0x201
minCoord = 100
maxCoord = 850
pollPeriod = 5150
mapFile = joy4.map
The default settings were absolutely crap, but these are somewhat decent
(on the ***scale). joy4 is simply a small edit of the other three map
files; this one just adds the proper axis' (XYZ) and two button support.
Or am I the only one in the who group who takes his classic *** a
little too seriously? :)
