Braking hard in Nascar1 and Nascar2 --- loss of control -- HELP!!

by Mika Vannik » Wed, 16 Sep 1998 04:00:00

I have converted some of the tracks from ICR2 to Nascar1 and while
driving a few of the high speed road courses, when it comes to high
speed braking, the rear end of the car does this "wild" fishtail and
spins while I am still on the Straight, even before I get to the turn.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Your asistance appreciated.

Doug

Moving the rear-weight bias forward will correct
most of the instability.

Also try softening the front springs

That might work too if you are braking in a
straight line.  Doesn't it make the car looser
in a trail-braking situation though?
