I've also gotten a physical dump memory error a couple of times. Don't know
if it's related or not.
Also running XP home edition
I have had no problems with the addon tracks. To verify I just loaded a tptcc race
at Sebring with 35ai cars. It loaded and ran practice and then I skipped ahead to the
race and that also worked fine.
First I would verify that you have the latest version, v1.4 and next I'd double check
that it was unzipped properly. into tracks/sebring, not tracks/tracks/sebring
dh
tracks/tracks/sebring
Checked the Version and it was 1.4....file checks out ok too...Sebring and
Sebring Night are in the file with the rest of the tracks and not in a
sub-folder...Both Sebrings show up in the Records menu in my game..
I just can't seem to run the tracks with the AI cars...
Havnet tried on-line yet...
Could it be the 64MB video card? It tries to load it but can't find so that
doesn't sound like the solution to me, but I'm far from an expert on this
stuff...
Thanks again in advance..
Timmy
My only guess then would be you may have your graphic settings too high for
your video card. Try adding a few cars at a time, say 5 then 5 more for 10 then
5 more...keep doing that til the track won't load. That will at least give you a
benchmark barrier.
next try reducing the amount of cars seen and other graphic options. I haven't
heard of anyone else complaining about the tracks not loading and for sure, there
are plenty of 64meg vid card users out there. Good luck.
