From memory, the game expects the irq's to be the standard old boring ones
for each com port.

COM1 IRQ 4
COM2 IRQ 3
COM3 IRQ 4
COM4 IRQ 5

Newer racing games like Nascar (new? don't think so!), Indycar etc allow
you to chose the interrupt and com port.  I use IRQ's 4,3,5 and 9 respectively
for my com ports, so I find the feature handy.

Btw, I found that F1GP was terrible with a modem, even with error correction
and compression turned off.  The latency was just too high and the game seemed
to use a protocol where it waited for the small amounts of information from
the other party.

This is not a problem over a direct link, where the latency is low, but over
a phone line...bah...game was unplayble.

I wonder if anyone else had any luck with it?
