I agree it's still arcade physics, not a true sim. I jus meant the
physics were good FOR an arcade sim, they seem somewhat better than
Moto Racer's for example.

With sluggish I don't mean laggy or anything like that, but simply
that it shifts slower from side to side than in Moto Racer. That is a
problem if the are lots of tight curves. Slower turning may be more
realistic, but it improves the gameplay with such a fast paced driving
game.

Anyway, I'm disappointed Redline Racer appears to be the same old
stuff with better graphics all over again. I want something new. F1RS
is great because that is the only 3D accelerated F1 sim anyway, but
there are enough 3Dfx accelerated plain arcade racers out there
already. San Fransisco Rush PC would have not been "plain", it was
original with its shortcuts and jumps. Too damn shame, there are far

there already.

I also thought the control of RR was a bit sluggish. I will have to
play it a bit more and see if I get used to it or not. MR control just
feels 'so right' when I go back and play it after RR.

Actually I agree very much, there are way to many "plain jane" racers
with nothing to do but race laps. They do get old in a big hurry,
especially the arcade ones. I'm dying for a game like NFS1 or Road
Rash that actually has something to the gameplay.
