NASCAR PSX-Need HELP!

by Steve Koont » Thu, 07 Nov 1996 04:00:00

I just got NASCAR on the PlayStation but I am having serious problems
staying out of the wall.  There are certain tracks, like Rockingham, Talladega,
Bristol, with high banking that I can do well on.  But others (especially) the
road courses, my car pushes like there's no tomorrow.  Meanwhile, I'm
getting passed up like a dirty shirt.  I've messed around with the settings,
but nothing seems to work.  Do I just suck at driving?  Or do the car setups
have THAT MUCH of an influence?
Thanks

Steve

Yes your car setup makes a huge difference in driving.  I'm not sure
how realistic the PSX version is, but check out Jan Kohl's Quickfix
setup guide.  Start with one of the default setups and use it to tune
the setup to your driving style.  I have a copy on my webpage:
