I have a multi-player question...

Howdy. Is there any racing game which supports a similar server/client
architecture as Quake? We want to set up a dedicated server so that us
and our friends can all log in and race, but the server has to be
un-manned (at the office). Is this a possibilty with any racing software
out there?

Thanks,
Simon Goodwin

 Nope.
GPL is the closest you will get . You can set up a race with a 2 hour
practice session, if that gives you enough time to get home the race will
begin when the 2 hours is up. The only problem is you only get one race so
better make it a big one.
If GPL didn't freeze whenever a popup window accurse under it or if it
could be minimised with alt enter then cosession remote would work
perfectly. Using this program you can control GPL from another computer. It
works fine starting the game and setting up the server but when you
disconnect from the cosession there is a screen shift that freezes the
screen this doesn't effect that race but you cannot get back in again to
change the next race.
