I was 5 as the crash happend, but from old videos I believe to remember
that there was no wall, just a crest alongside the track.
Niki was not able to get out of the car, but other drivers stopped and
helped him, thus saving his live. Ironically he stated, that he would
never do this - stopping his car aften an accident.

Last weekend there was a 24-hour-race at the Ring, with almost 200 cars
starting - everything from a Chrysler Viper, Touring Cars, Porsches,
even Rally cars with different set up. The race was of course done on
the Nordschleife, but used also part of the new GP-track. It was
broadcasted in DSF (Deutsches Sportfernsehen) and if you are lucky you
should be able to get some pictures in motorsport magazines (either TV
or paper).

Hey, thats great! Habe heute der Pedalbox per Post erhalten - vielen
Dank fr die prompte Erledigung. Mein Ferrari (Grand Prix Legends) wird
nun wieder mit Saitek Technology bewegt, und mein Freund, der gerade
ber die Anschaffung eines Lenkrades nachdachte, hat seine Entscheidung
nun auch getroffen!
Kaum zu glauben, dass es noch Firmen mit solchem Kundenservice gibt!

Still visible? The guy has no ears, i'd say it's visible.
