Anybody know what's up with the Prima Nascar Racing 4 Strategy Guide? The
reference to it on their website is gone and Amazon doesn't list it anymore?

The guy who wrote the book bought the sim and found out that he couldn't
fake it like he did in the last edition. <G>

Or it didn't run.  :)

Sorry, I couldn't resist, it runs fine on my machine.

They *were* going to have me write it (after I, ah, experienced "The Richard
Petty Experience"--sounds like a girls' soccer team), but
nooooooooooo.............

(The guy who was keen on having me pen the strategy guide got canned.)

You should have anyway. It'd have been good. Actually the only one I ever
bought was one for Nascar 2, I think. Not much to chew on in those books.

I don't remember who did it, but the very first one - for N1, was pretty
darn good, included a cd-rom with some utilities and links as well.
I agree, I think Steve would have been great for this.

I still have the N1 one, and will keep it for a long time - it's autographed by
Ward Burton.  :)  Right after he beat DE to the line for his first win...

You know, I looked around and I do have the N1 book with the cd. LOL. The
info wasn't anything that couldn't have been had on the net at the time. The
N2 version was fairly  poor. The guys' name was a bit familiar but not from
racing online. Never saw him on Hawaii or TEN.  Would have been great to get
a  "Smith" guide for N4.  Though  Rodney Arndt's piece is an excellent
guide.

P.s. Don, you ever mow that lawn? <VBSEG>
