The Act Labs stuff is nice too, but expensive compared to the MSFFW.  The
MSFFW is a very good value right now.

Be my guest.  I have no hardware issues with XP.

Is the Act Labs better than the Thrustmaster pro FF?
Only Racing game I play is N4.

The MSFFW is around $100 after the $30 rebate.  In this price range, you
can't do better.  Just make sure you get the USB version and avoid the
Gameport version.

Hehe...I wasn't going to say that...<g>
I was just going to say you *know* that patches will probably come out for the
hardware.  If you're so gung ho and always want the latest and greatest OS,
you'll occasionally have to put up with problems...

A majority seem to...and some of them are quite computer-literate.  Yeah, I
know - it's not REALLY a majority<g>, but listening to these discussions makes
others(including me) say "why bother?"  My (home)setup works fine, and I
haven't seen ANYTHING in the new OS that gives me a rise...<g>
