N3 carshapes, wheels, tracks...?

I was wondering about a few things regarding NASCAR Racing 3-

1. Any carshape patches?  I found great Late Model and Wedge LMS          
carshapes on a site that are real nice- any more I should look for?
Like 70s or 80s cars, 80s camaros, etc?  Is there a way to swap car
shapes easily, or can you make different versions of N3 on your HD
without any conflicts?

2. Is there a patch for 3D wheel rims or to paint them?
(the wedge 'outlaw' cars mentioned above had deep white rims.)

3. Good place to look for tracks, especially short ovals?

4. What is the rule of thumb for adding tracks- as in limit the game
can hold, etc.  I download some that supposedly did not need to be
converted and could not get any of them to show up.

Dunno about shapes, N3 can definitely be on your HD more than once. I used
to keep a CD release install and a "beta" install as the Beta Board was big
back then and we got patches every few weeks.

There are/were some aftermarket rims painted up so they may still be out
there and it also means that painting them is possible. Prolly need some BMP
and MIP programs to do it with.

The truck pack had some great short tracks in it. I-70, Mesa Marin, IRP,
etc.

You have to make sure to add them to you all.cal file so they will show up.
It does work, I added in a couple of Daytonas and a Pocono in N3.

  The uspits.com has two great conversions for N3.  The TPTCC touring car,
kinda a modern Trans Am/Touring car patch...and the TPTAC which models the
1970 Trans Am racing..(oops I just remembered, this one was for Nascar
Legends...)  Both function the same, we found you could even run either
patch together online.

   TPTCC has a couple of choices for wheels that are installed with the
patch...I have no clue if they are paintable.
   Find a copy of the Busch Grand National expansion disk or Nascar99.  Then
use the track convertors at the pits...

  You have to edit the calendar.  The tptcc used a custom calendar that had
just about all the tracks available...I don't know if they have an archive
for the n3 stuff, but check out the tptcc link at the pits.

I have a similar question. Is the anywhere where I can still find a good
selection of trucks and Busch cars from the '99 season? I have the Busch
cars from Sim-World, but there are still a few regulars from '99 I'd
like to add. As for trucks, basically all I have is  what came with the
game.

I noticed the calendar line that came with the tracks I downloaded, but
can not tell how I am able to edit the calendar in N3 with this file.  
Any simple directions to follow?   Thanks.

  You edit with notepad a file called all.cal
the #'s before the track name must climb in order and the last # must = the
total number of lines..
so if you had 12 tracks..it would look like this...

11
12
13 xx
if you add a track...you just cut and past the entire line and then
increment the first # up one...so if we added a track after the 11th track
listing it would look like this..
10
11
12  New track
13
14 xx
  When you look at the calendar line that is 'usually' included with tracks,
make sure you cut and paste it exacty without any add spaces at the
end....then the only thing you will need to change is the first # to make it
accend properly.
