GP500 : wishing list before final release.

I'm sure it's too late for this now, but don't you think it would've
been cool if they included 125 and 250 cc bikes in the game?  It would
be a great way to learn how to corner well without having to rely on
the power of the 500.

I've been riding for over 30yrs on 15 different bikes and wind noise has
been my single biggest problem,  besides cops.  After about 100kph you start to
loose the sound of your engine. At really high speeds, 160-250kph, it starts to
get so loud it hurts, even with custom ear plugs and a full coverage helmet. So
yes wind noise is a big reality,  but I DON'T want it included in the sim as
there is nothing positive about it whatsoever.

Thanks Wolf,  very informative indeed, as for lenghtening the replay,
yes
it's like GPL and it's core.ini

I've tried forceonbikeview = true and we were stuck in outside view mode
(TV) dunno why it did that. I removed it in the gp500.ini, and decided
to change it manually to view 4

Cheers

Eric

yeah i noticed that as well ... bit of a downer ... but should be fixed
hopefully

as for the 125's and 250's ... if you look in the zip files that hold the
data ... you cant open them but you can browse with a text editor you will
notice there are files for "minibikes" ... so that could well mean there are
trainer type bikes in there ... however the license precludes having
official 125 and 250's .... ralf waldmann is mentioned in there as well ...
he is a 250 rider a think ... not too sure maybe 125 ... but certainly not a
500 this year ...

Shane

except realism, of course.

actually, wind noise is a major problem for many (club-level) at least
racers.  a couple of months ago, we had a few days at Anderstorp
Scandinavian Raceway in Sweden
(http://dodrt.dod.no/anderstorp/anderstorp.htm), where a lot of people
were missing gears like crazy at the end of the longest straight, as
the wind-noise totally masked the engine note (roughly 240 km/h on a
600 -- the Superbike guys were braking from arount 270 km/h).  I think
this was the first time I actually had to _look_ at the rev-counter.
