MGPRS2 Help PLEASE

by J » Sat, 01 Apr 2000 04:00:00

Had similar probs quite a while ago. In my case it's the V3 (in connection with
bad programming of MGPRS2)
First help was to check the "limit texture to 2 MB".
The latest V3-driver also should solve the problem.

Try it out

OK, after trying all of everyone's suggestions (which I greatly appreciate)
I've come to the final conclusion.***pit view stutters like hell at at all
resolutions. Out of***pit view no stuttering. The only thing left to do is
drive with the "nose view" which sucks for realism, my other option was to
try D3D but it only goes up to 640x480 and is ugly. I don't know what else
to do.

<snip>

Why does your D3D only go up to 640x480? Surely a Voodoo3 can do better than
that? My bog-standard card goes up to 1024x768 in D3D.

Not sure because this only happens with MGPRS2. If I click on the resolution
button in the configuration/graphics section of the game it doesn't change.
All other D3D sims/games use higher resaolutions, up to 1280x1024 actually.
I have version 1.06 of both 3Dfx and D3D.
