Portland bug in CPR?

I tried to use the Portland track in CART Precision Racing the other night,
and every time I'd get an error box saying something like "can't complete
requested operation."  I did use the track once previously a month or so
ago.  I load tracks from the CD.  Is this a documented problem?

I downloaded Arne Martin's upgrade to the Portland track and that works.
Anyone know what's up?
