I need some help folks..   I have the Indy1 track converted to Nascar1.  I
just got Nascar2 for Xmas and wanted to convert it over.  There is a file
(n12icr3.exe) that is supposed to allow you to convert the Indy1  to Indy2
and then patch it for N2...  I have tried it twice and I keep getting an
error on load that says "cannot load (or read?) complete track
description."  When it failed the first time I cleaned all the files out,
started fresh in case I made a mistake and it happened exactly the same the
2nd time.

Can anyone help??  I would really like to have Indy in my N2 schedule??

Thanks...  Pat McGhie

I recently bought Papy's new release of Cart Racing: (ICR2) and i am
trying to update it to Version 1.0.2  but the patch that is available
on Sierra's web site will not work...
I cannot set any controls as the control configuration menu wants to
select the mouse for all the controls...
The version i have is: Version 1.0.0
Anyone have any ideas where i can get a patch that will work with CART
RACING....
I tried renaming the CART.EXE  to INDYCAR.EXE to see if the patch would
work that way, but no go...
Thanks for any assistance....

I could be wrong, but the copy you bought should already be the latest
version, seem show it is a re-release.  Version 1.05 has been out a long
time.

i did have the problem....temporarly disable the mouse drivers (i just
had to move to /mouse and give an \off switch) go back in Cart and it
configures the controls fine.

From memory, you need to disable your mouse driver in dos to get the
controls set up. Once you do this you can then re-enable your mouse
driver. I think there's a readme on Sierra's site about it.

Hi Ron,

Sierra/Papy's CART Racing is indeed version 1.02, and does not need to
be patched...(!)...er...updated to what it already is.  =)

The only patches needed are those for the included paintkit, which some-
how slipped through the fix-it process.  Make sure you're not using the
Win95 (ugh!) version.  =P

Cheers!

Marc
