I would like to have an option for the AI to do the real 1967 times,
no matter how fast I am or the (warped) online track record is.

And, of course, a different driver.ini for each track, to model the
1967 season perfectly, qualifying and race perfomances, reliabilty and
crashes. Right now, the AI performs the same at each track.
Maybe it's different in a complete Grand Prix distance race, but
Novice or Pro/Int Short/long are enough for me.
Bandini eg. only participated at Monaco, and the unlucky guy did not
even finish this race. But he is simulated in every GPL race.
And at the Ring, even Formula 2 cars raced with the F1 cars, very
competitively btw.

Adjusting the key in GPL_AI.INI shown below to the value indicated will do
just that and will also disable the Normalized Player Time system

[magic]

npt_override = 1.00

Be sure that you don't add a new key, just change the existing one!

He did worse than didn't finish.  He got severe injuries in his crash through
the chicane and died days later due to the injuries according to the GPL
maunal....
