Playing GTR2 online 'downunder'

  I was wondering whether anyone knows of any servers based in New Zealand
or Australia that will enable me to play GTR2 online.
  I live in NZ, so I assume that there would be too much lag to play GTR2
via servers in the States. Is that correct?
