Georgia Online Racing Series

by Darron Turne » Tue, 14 Dec 1999 04:00:00

I have started a Nascar 3 league called:

Georgia Online Racing Series - GORS

This league is open to anybody living in the state of Georgia.  Everything
is still in the works right now.  We just want to start recruiting drivers
and run some test races and get everything ready to go for a 2000 season.

Jason Lemberg(aka 'Surgio') started a similar league for Indiana
drivers(HORS).

I have talked to Jason about forming 'GORS' on the same lines as his
league.  This would include the same rules, and close to the same
schedule.  This way, when All-Star/Championship type events are run
everybody from the different state leagues will be familiar with the other
state's rules.  Also, the schedules would end near the same time so if there
is a championship event between the states....we will be done at the same
time.  If other states get involved in this, it could turn into a very fun
series.

I put the web page together today, so it still needs work.  Part of the logo
at the top of the main page is a little hard to see and I will correct all
problems as I get a chance.  I wanted to get something up so drivers could
start signing up.

We already have 8 signed up and I have contacted a few others.

If you know anybody that would be interested in joining this league, please
pass the word!!

To sign-up or check out the league, go to www.awtech.net/gors/

If anybody would like to contact me with questions or comments about
GORS........just send me an e-mail!

Thanks
