I am using a Logitech Wingman FF wheel, and in Nascar 4, it takes both brake
and gas on the same axis. This bites as I have no real brakes, just a
cancellation of the gas.

Anyone know how I can split the pedals?

you go into control panel in Windows, Game controllers and it should be
under the properties section for the logitech. Then recalibrate and setup in
the game ...

also make sure IN the game you select the DirectX input method rather than
the Papyrus Optimized box.

what's really funny is you dont have to do that if you have the intro and
exit sequences enabled ... When I disabled them, the wheel was no longer
recognized ...

I can't be the only one to whom it sometimes takes multiple tries for
N4 to load, can I??  Usually, it will freeze at the splash screen (or
intro if I let it get that far).  But sometimes it will load the 1st
time.  All w/ NAV unloaded and a fresh reboot.
