: Howdy,
: Has anyone driven NASCAR with CH Pro Pedals????

and, what would interest me:

Is it possible to use the CH RUDDER Pedals (which are for Flight Sims) with
Driving Sims such as ICR or NASCAR (since they are coordinated, if you push
one, the other comes up, as in an aircraft). I do not have Rudder Pedals,
but I'd like to buy them, but I would like to know if that works.
Thanx in advance

Michael

Howdy again
I have the CH Virtual Pilot and it works great with ICR and MSFS5.0. I'm going
to go buy NASCAR and CH Pro Pedals

The CH Pro Pedals work two ways.  They function as rudder pedals and move
back and forth.  However each pedal can pivot, just like the accelerator on
a car.  On an aircraft, these function would be used for braking, but it works
just fine with NASCAR.

But I'd like to followup with a slightly different question.  Does anyone use
the CH Products Yoke with NASCAR?  I'd like to get a steering wheel, but
would prefer something that I could also use with Flight Unlimited.

Yes.Nascar cars still handle like ocean liners!!Its a good product
given the fact that it tries to be rudder pedals as well as
brake/throttle.Just dont expect life to be easier

So Many peaple are asking this, so I thought I'd chip in my .02$ worth.
I use the CH Rudder pedals and a CH Virtual pilots joke. With two small blocks of wood in place behind the pedals to stop them pivoting forward ( as a rudder does) they work well in both indycar & nascar.

The Yoke took a little more getting used to. I am now, after 2 weeks getting used to it( I haven't been playing for 2 weeks non stop :) ).I found it very sensitive to begin with. I have not played with the control options and so it may be less sensitive with these adjusted.

I also use this setup, minus the blocks of wood with flight unlimited. I have found that on occassions The joystick calibration is awfull ( no throttle, unlinear response)sometimes it takes two or three attempts to get it all setup properly.
When setup properly its great ( except the plane seams to want to continually dive, solution fly everywhere upside down!), the joystick calibration & the diving I have read about on the newsgroup and I believe that they are working on a patch for these
works great with FS5 also.

sorry about going on about flight simms for too long on this group.
