Here's My Notes"

1] Everyone and I mean EVERYONE I know (including myself) who has owned a
Thrustmaster NASCAR Pro (Formula One Pro Outside US) has had it BREAK (usally a
pedal) at some point. Thus......

2] Because of this, I've been SERIOUSLY looking at getting the Logitech Wheel
WITHOUT the force feedback.

3] I've been reading the posts here (thanks folks) And I've got just a couple
of questions about the Logitech Wheel

-(a) How well does its clamp system work?
-(b) How good/bad are the pedals?

Thanks everyone!

I've had mine for over 3 months now. On average I use it for around an
hour a day. I've had no problems at all thus far, although maybe it is
too early to tell?

Cheers!

I believe what you are referring to is the traditional breaking of the
springs from TM. TM replaces these at no cost and are easily done! Other
than that at least they work well, which from what I've read may not be the
case for the Logitech pedals.

I have the LWFF but I believe the Clamps and Pedals are the same. The clamping
system works very well. Imagine the TM GP1 clamps but properly engineered. This
wheel does not move once in position. I do not have an under-desk keyboard
drawer or a lip on my desk, this may have some impact on how the LWFF would
work for you.

I still don't like the pedals...I read a post on another forum yesterday,
written by someone who says he was able to get his TM pedals to work with his
Logitech wheel. If this is true, I may be able to use my CH pedals in the same
way, it will be the best of both worlds IMO.
