WSC and GeForce 3 : What's melting in the pot lately

by Eric Cot » Sun, 04 Mar 2001 21:22:38

This article comes in 2 part. The first one is more about what the
Nvidia GeForce 3 card is, and what impact it will do for WSC.
Specifically since the GF3 provides a fully programmable engine so the
West Bros can build and work with their own types of instructions. The
second part, even if it's brief gives you an idea where Chris and Tony
are up to as we speak. Take a LOOK and you will see why waiting for WSC
is worth it.

But wait until when?  I'd be willing to wager a substantial amount of money
that this game will NOT be released this year (2001).  I'm not complaining,
I just don't see it happening.

Yeah I don't think it'll be out by Christmas either. Shame, cos it looks
*very* pretty from the screenies and movie clip, and if the physics model is
as good as the graphics then we'll be in for a treat :)

The demo will apparently include a 1967 Ferrari, so we can compare physics
models with the mighty GPL, which I think is brave of them.... don't see us
getting the demo until September though (prove me wrong, West brothers,
please!)
