A friend has a Compaq, and wants to run Nascar over the modem,the modem it
came with doesnt support DOS. Any one else have a Compaq and modem race? Are
you using a diff modem? Can he use a external, like a U.S. Robotics?
Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!!

N2 will run in Win95 (in a virtual DOS box), and the modem will then function.
I have a Compaq with the aforementioned lousy modem, but this seems to work
for me. Of course with Win95 sucking up all the resources, smooth game play
is only a dream not reality. time to invest in a REAL modem.

If he has Win95, and he gets in set up JUST right, he can run it from
Win95. It took me forever to get N1 to work in W95, but it does now.
Of course,it didnt until I added 16 megs of RAM to bring it to 32,
buuuuutttt....
