setups. Lap times and stopwatching replays is pretty crude. At the very
least I could use G readings, rpms at specific points and shock data.
Maybe they could window it under the replay scene. By stepping through a
section frame by frame you could watch tire/suspension loading and engine
data for instance. A dynamic, freezable graphing system might be nice with a
print out option. BTW does Ford still use the same black box in F1 and
their production cars? There might be room for a commercial tie in here
to defray development costs for Papyrus.
Wasn't there a dyno room option listed in the early advertising? I know
that it's pretty much frosting on the cake. But, considering how my lap
times are peaking out on some courses, it won't be too long before I will
need to squeeze out some more performance. By inputting specific course
data and gearing options in the dyno room, you would be able to set an
engine up for a particular course and stay in the hp/torque sweet spot.
Or, set up a real high output hand grenade of a qualifying engine. No the
dyno room would not need to have the post run, tear down and evaluation
phase.<g>
