Black Boxes and Dyno for ICR?

I would like to have some black box readouts to evaluate different
setups.  Lap times and stopwatching replays is pretty crude. At the very
least I could use G readings, rpms at specific points and shock data.
Maybe they could window it under the replay scene.  By stepping through a
section frame by frame you could watch tire/suspension loading and engine
data for instance. A dynamic, freezable graphing system might be nice with a
print out option.  BTW does Ford still use the same black box in F1 and
their production cars?  There might be room for a commercial tie in here
to defray development costs for Papyrus.

Wasn't there a dyno room option listed in the early advertising?  I know
that it's pretty much frosting on the cake.  But, considering how my lap
times are peaking out on some courses, it won't be too long before I will
need to squeeze out some more performance. By inputting specific course
data and gearing options in the dyno room, you would be able to set an
engine up for a particular course and stay in the hp/torque sweet spot.
Or, set up a real high output hand grenade of a qualifying engine. No the
dyno room would not need to have the post run, tear down and evaluation
phase.<g>

Some good suggestions.  I would at least like have an option for a
simple telemetry display like the ones they show on TV now.  It would
also be nice if they would offer another TV view that tries to
keep "action" in the shot instead of just focusing on one car.

Something that would be a tremendous help and improve realism would be
to show smoke from any tires that are locking up under braking.
