I Can't Get Sound With My NFS Demo!

I downloaded the Need For Speed 3MB demo from EA's home page, and I
can't get sound.  I had to make a boot disk because I only have 8 MB of
RAM.  The config.sys file had no sound card in it, so I just used my
NASCAR boot disk.  The sound works fine in NASCAR when I use it.  I
tried using all of the available .pif files to start the game, and I
tried the tnfs.exe file.  I get the game to work fine, but I get no
sound.  I have a SB-16.

Please help!

I have the same problem with my SB 1.0. I believe the problem may be that
EA have hardcoded an IRQ/DMA/etc setup into the game, which I haven't
been able to configure for my IRQ/DMA, and therefore, if you have a
different setup, you don't get any sound. I could be wrong, but this is
the only way I see why I'm not getting sound.
