Slow screen updates

by T.. » Thu, 25 May 1995 04:00:00

This has probably been covered a dozen times before, but its the first time
for me. I have NASCAR on a 486/66 with 8 meg of memory. I have a 1 meg video
card. The problem is that the screen updates get slow and choppy when I have
other cars on the track, so much so that passing is almost impossible. I have
run MEMMAKER and have all the NASCAR graphics set to auto. The screen updates
are fine when there is no traffic but it gets choppy when I do get into
traffic. What can I do to improve the play in traffic? I appreciate the help,
Thanks.

Would check to make sure Video Shadowing is enabled on your system.

This may be the only problem.....If not make sure and boot with only
the bare minimum of configurations....

good luck........
