That is kinda funny(odd/wierd funny), an OLD problem with 3dfx in opengl
was a slow menu screen like you describe. I have no clue why it would also
show up on a NON-3dfx. Now d3d 'should' run well on your system. I would
guess trying some different drivers but I just haven't heard of this
behavior before.
