wiring of buttons on Thrustmaster T1 (help needed)

by Johan Hoek » Mon, 14 Oct 1996 04:00:00

Messed up while trying to attach the buttons of my Thrusmaster T1 (steering
wheel)
to the wheel itself. De-soldered the buttons a while back, but can't find
the
wiring sceme anywhere anymore.

Need help getting the buttons to work again. Anyone out there able to tell
me how
these buttons should be wired?

Have got the yellow/brown wire and the pink wire coming from the joystick
connector.
How do they connect to the buttons? How are the buttons inter-connected
(connected to
one another?)

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there, I done it with my T2, and the yellow is the ground wire, but
my other wire are green and blue, the yellow was kind of split and going
to both switches.

Hope that will help you...

This is from the FAQ at Wally'sWorld of Simulators
(http://www.oz.net/~wottenad/wheel2.htm#section8):

. . . You will see a number of wires coming in from the joystick
cable, but the only ones we need to deal with are the yellow, red and
purple. The yellow wire is the common ground wire inputs to the
switches (pin 4). The red wire is button 1 output (pin2). The purple
wire is button 2 output (pin 6).
