N4 also has Sears Point and Watkins Glen. They're 'proper' race tracks.

Sears Point and Watkin Glen

If you not interested in oval racing then why are you interested in a sim
based on a series that races primarily on ovals?  If I was looking for a
good oval sim for example I wouldn't be looking at ones based on F1.

I'm surprised you have to ask.  N4 is hyped to high heaven around
here.  if it's half as good as the r.a.s consensus wants it, I want
it.  I just think ovals are a major bore.

and I'm not looking for a sim based on, uh, that oval series.

The real solution will be when the GPL to N4 convertor is finished.  Then
you will have access to all the tracks that GPL can run.
But currently,  only Sears...and Watkins Glenn..(in nascar form, no boot..)

If you think that then you don't understand Nascar racing.

Well, so did I. But try it. Oval racing is an artform in it self. It's
not at all easy to drive fast, and there is a huge strategy element in
there to win races. And N4 has the best driving model yet in any
racing game.

Hehe, I can completely relate to that. I had never found ovals
interesting, but gave them the benefit of doubt because I had never
tried them before. It was a nice surprise when I finally got Nascar 4.

I downloaded the demo, but I'm not hoping for much, as I hated the
other Nascar-titles.

Good. The other NASCAR titles was based on the old papy engine which
originated from IndyCar Racing. N4 is an evolution of the GPL engine
with a much better tire model and aero model. So you will spin out of
the first corner when you try it first time. :)

You hated Nascar Heat? N4 and NH are both good IMO and if you don't
like one then you probably won't like the other.
