I find when playing F1RC (demo) with my Wingman Formula Force, that the
steering is very indirect. There seems to be a noticeable delay between when
I turn in, and then when the car *actually* turns. Not like GP3 or say GPL
where you just point it where you want to go and squirt the throttle and all
is happy.

I'm thinking its my settings, or maybe just the way the demo is, being cut
down and all from the full ver? Can anyone else out there suggest what I can
change to make it feel way better under F1RC? As I say I find GPL and GP3 to
be fine.

Thanks,
Matt.

If a 120 meg demo it 'cut down' - I'd love to see what they could have
done -

Perhaps you should lower the deadzone? On my LWFF I have set it to 3.
You can also experiment other joystick settings under the
'sensitivity' button.

Try exponential, and set the dead zone to 2 or 3.

Try downloading DX Deadzone from here:
http://www.wingmanteam.com/Latest_Software/Gadgets/gadgets.htm
And setting the stearing deadzone to 0

I know you can set the deadzone in F1RC but I think you still get the 5%
deadzone in DX when it's set to 0.

No, not in DX8

Actually
I have a zero deadzone in the demo and steering is great.
