US/UK Availability of Ubi F1?

Can anyway from either the UK or America advise on the cost of F1RS in
your country. And kindly recommend a dependable mail-order house. I'm
getting very edgey waiting for F1RS and am tempted to get the game by
mail-order direct.

Normally, here in Singapore, we get all the great games fast, but we
seem to be pegged to the US distribution schedule, so we lose out
sometimes (GP2 was later than the Europe release).

As an aside, I'm having great fun with the 3Dfx version of Screamer
Rally, Mainly because I can use my CH Pedals on independant axis, so
gently controlled 4 wheel drifts are possible. But have no illusion,
this is no sim, doesn't attempt to be one, but is great (Moto-racer)
type fun with stunning NFS2SE graphics, albeit with some `pop-up'
graphics `leaks'.

If I do want to get F1RS from the UK, can someone also advise on the
cost of TOCA Touring Cars?

The only place in the US I know of that has it is Interact CD
(http://www.interactcd.com). They're a CD-ROM shop in Pasadena, CA, with
a nice 'net storefront, and they've been getting import copies from the
UK. Price is US$39.99 plus $3 UPS shipping (international may be
different). I got a copy from them last week. I was recently informed by
someone else on this list that they were backordered until today. Since
the word has got around that they have the game, I think they've had
trouble keeping it in stock. You might call or e-mail them to check on
availability.

They seem to be very dependable - I e-mailed them a question about the
game prior to ordering and they responded within an hour (West Coast
business hours, of course). Shortly after I filled out the Web order
form, they e-mailed me that, as my order had come in after their UPS
pick-up, they were sending it USPostal Service Priority Mail. So I was
quite pleased when it arrived the very next day.

Hi, F1RS is 34.99 in the UK and TOCA is 29.99, on the high street. You can
try Gameplay on (44) 0113 234 0444. there list price for TOCA is 24.99 and
29.99 for F1RS overseas postage is 2.50 per item. You can also email them

fine. I hope this helps you.
cheers
