1) I think (or was at least hoping) that driving with realistic
damage would create an atmosphere where everyone KNOWS that the
slightest bit of damage would make their car uncompetitive until they
pitted again. This should promote better driving, especially in a
controlled environment where we don't have to worry about intentioanl
wreckers. I think most/all of us make an honest effort to drive
clean, but...
2) Shit happens Dave. As much as we'd like it to happen, we all
can't have a perfect race every week - EVERYBODY makes mistakes.
It's all fine and dandy to *** and moan, but I honestly don't see
how we're any better as drivers at any other kind of track than we
are at the supers. It's just that mistakes are amplified at supers
because of the importance of the draft.
3) If we lower the damage for supers, we should lower the damage for
ALL tracks. I think we're stressing Eldred enough just to remember
to start the server, we don't want him to have to remember to change
the damage level for a given track as well. :)
4) I personally don't think we should lower the damage level, but I
will defer to the majority. We are, afterall, here to have fun.
