game? My brother, his kids & I often race against each other over our
100baseTX network but coming up to lap the AI cars, you would assume that
the other drivers would give you a bit of space to pass, but often they just
pull right across the track to block me (or hit me!) what makes it worse is
if they go off the track, they instantly reappear in the middle of the
track. This is V.annoying when the go off on your left & reappear on your
right & instantly nudge you off the track!
Also, having lapped the majority of the field (we need to keep the level on
Standard so the kids have a chance of not coming 16th all the time) when I
finish the race & every other car goes on to complete their last lap, I seem
to have become invisible to the AI. The cars just keep throwing themselves
into the back of my car, I can't get out of their way as I've finished, and
have no control, and until the slowest of the competitors in the house have
finished, I have to put up with cars trying to climb through my car (and of
course if they try to go round me & go slightly off the track, they reappear
directly behind me).
Is this just us or does this always happen in network games???
