F1GP AI Braking Distance

It seems that no matter what you tune the AI grip factor to, the
AI cars always brake far earlier than I do to set up a turn.  With Traction
Control off the difference is less noticable but still makes passing
unrealistically easy.  I can't remember ever being 'held up' for more than a
turn or two, even at Monaco.  I know nothing about programming but was
curious as to the feasibility of creating a braking distance editor into
future versions of the GPed editor [a wonderful package, Trevor].  I know
a camage editor for the pc is being worked on and that coupled with
a braking editor would maybe make the game as perfect as it can be...of
course all this may be moot with F1GPII.  Any ideas?

Well, what grip numbers are you trying?  It goes up to 99.
