3:25 so far after 15 laps in the Lotus (also using my Spa setup)

I've yet to get the sweeping turns right that follow Tertre Rouge -
apparently you can take them flat out, but I can't get the turn in right
yet.

Also losing time on the tight bends (Mulsanne and Tetre Rouge). I either
ride the sandbanks or slow down too much.

Great track though:-)

3:20.3something, Eagle (325 km/h). I took Greger's old Monza setup,
tightened it a bit and adjusted the 5th gear; seems to work pretty
nicely. There's still lots of room for improvement in the final bends.

3:22 in the Lotus after a lap or 20, but Roland told us yesterday that
some of the testers were doing 3:15 (Eagle I assume).

Don't know if this was said in jest (god I hope so) but on VROC last
night Rick Osborn has apparently done a 3.11 which is good considering
Roland himself had only done 3.15 and he built it!

I haven't even been there yet but Rick's pretty good... mind you not as
good as Roland!

So let's assume the record stands at 3:15!

That would be the sweepers after Arnage I assume....

Terte Rouge is the right-hander before the Mulsanne straight.

I've also done about 20 laps, and have gotten down to 3:25ish in the
Honda.  I was in a pickup race last night where pole was a 3:16.something,
so people are getting down there quickly.  I've already seen plenty of
folks online with qual times under 3:20 (though not in the Cooper... ;-) ).
