Ordering N4 from Chips & Bits

Hi sim racers,

I ordered a copy of N4 from Chips & Bits
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/)
already in 9th February. In 26 Feb I asked about my order. They
wrote me that they had forgotten(?) to send the program to me,
and they told me that they posted it to me in 27 Feb. Today 9th
March I wrote them once again, because I am still waiting...
They answered immediately that they really posted the program
to me in 27 Feb.

Should I believe them? Does anyone have any comments or experiences
of the company?

I've ordered quite a few things from them (Nascar Legends, DTR, DTR Sprint
Cars, IHRA, etc) all to be delivered to the UK, and so far everything has
turned up no problems. IHRA took about four weeks to arrive as they didn't
have any in stock, but the other software all arrived in five to seven
working days. I have had better service from Chips & Bits than from some UK
software dealers.

I have been using Chips and Bits mail order since 1992 or '93. Probably
some 40 or 50 orders. I usually place directly by phone. They have never
let me down and my orders are usually delivered within 3 business days.
If only all companies were so good.

PS. I pre-ordered N4 from them in January. It arrived the day after it
was on the shelves of regular 'mall' type software retailers.

Agreed I have ordered stuff for delivery to UK. It has always turned up
within 14 days and usually in about 7 days.

If you are in the UK then sierra online will sell N4 for 19.99 - due out
next week. The also ship to the rest of Europe

I've never ordered from Chips N Bits but I've seen messages like yours
plenty of times. Try www.compuexpert.com  2nd FedEx and I've
never had a problem with them in over 2 yrs of doing business with
them.

Good Company...
