Hi ..

Reading posts from so many people on this newsgroup that F1RS seems very
buggy.

I dont think it's really as bad as people say.  I got my copy a couple days
ago, have it installed with the 1.08 patch, and havent encountered any
problems (except one, I'll get to that).  Admittedly, I havent played it
much because I've been messing with the GPL demo and my new RC10B3 (just
built the thing, poped my 13 turn triple into it, and its ***ING SNOWING
OUTSIDE!!!  But this isnt the newsgroup for that.
The only problem I did encounter was installation.  Install ran fine the
first time, but I didnt have enought disk space for the large install, so I
cancelled.  Next time I ran install, I got an illegal operation right
away...  it had left something on the HD it didnt like.  After deleting
everything in my windows/temp directory, and also an ubisoft directory I
found in c:\, it worked fine again... only bug I've found so far.
