they getting slower :(

How ***is that.  Where's the fun in restricting them.

Do these cars compete in any unrestricted turbod form? As in what can be
acheived?

I have friends with 2000cc turbocharged 600hp + road cars.

IMO, the point isn't not using it, it's just to have it for those
certain situations that may arise. ;)

It'd sound better with a Tim Allen voice over IMO, but that's cause I've
never heard of Tim Taylor  ;)

Yeah, I guess you're right, Ian. But I doubt Allen goes around grunting
at least once a day like his character did. No, Allen's pre-Home
Improvement stand up act(s) does not count. haha (j/k) ;)

Yes my friend, 300bhp per litre, turbocharged Cosworth engines.  Homologated
for motorsprt use in the 80's.  850bhp in drag spec.  224bhp out of the
factory for road use.

He wasn't talking about "usable" power Ed, we've seen those at Rudskogen
during open tracks days, old Rally Cross engines transplanted into road
cars and such, they're usually about 3 seconds slower than my old Opel
Manta :-)))

No, they are useable im afraid : )

Very finely mapped 8 injector setup.  Off boost they drive a lot like an
average 2l car - and pass all current emisson laws.  Dont forget however,
that we are talking a lot of money here.

Hehehe. Yeah, that is funny. A car can NEVER have too much power as long
as there's a way for the tires to grip the road. Am I right, or am I
right? :)
