Le Mans In-Car Cam Included On Video I Found on Ebay

Since I like in-car video to compare with the sim counterparts, and
in-car mpegs have been a reoccuring topic in this ng lately, I thought
I would mention a funky little video I won on ebay this month.

It is called "Ticket to Ride" and came out in 1986.  Produced by a
company in California, it combines Historics sports car event video
with  a variety of footage for about 45 minutes of in-car.
(The following info is from the narrator- don't blame me for mistakes!)
Tracks are:

SEBRING [Lister Chev. taken during Historics race weekend- looks like
the older wide-open config.]

PIKE's PEAK HILL CLIMB [in a leisurely-driven historic 1957 Porche
Speedster]

MEXICAN ROAD RACE [the '57 Porche again]

LAGUNA SECA [3 separate laps shown: Sunbeam Tiger during Historics
practice lap; C4R Cunningham in Historics race; Phil Hill in Ferrari
512 Boxer saying "God Dammit!" while apparently missing a gear or
something heading up the hill to the corkskrew- I think he thought they
wouldn't use it in the video because he goes around the track again
using the same joke- "If you mess up here you end up in Salinas..."]

Le MANS  [2 versions: famous Stirling Moss film in Ford GT40; and
Jurgen Barth with comments subtitled in Porche 936 during practice in a
frightening lap on an older config. passing 911s- YIKES!!!]

RIVERSIDE  [Jim Busby in an IMSA B.F. Goodrich Porche 962 during a race
in anger, including a driver change, finish line, and joyous pit crew]

I took a chance not knowing the content, and I feel though my copy is
very worn in places, it was worth it for Hill at Laguna, the 936 at Le
Mans, and the sawing away on the wheel in the IMSA GTP at Riverside.
For the 6 bucks I give it 3 1/2 stars- Joe Bob says check it out.

Thanks for that.  I have a video called "Ticket to Ride" which I bought in
the 80's.  But as far as I can recall, it is mainly bikes and rally cars.
However it is years since I have looked at it.  I'll blow the stoor of it
this weekend to see if it is the same one.
