With all the discussion about FF wheels, I have seen no talk of
the Thrustmaster ForceGT wheel.  Anyone have any experience with
this?

Yes, I have a friend who owns this 'wheel' and it's the biggest heap of ***
I've ever had the displeasure of using in my life. Here's why :

a) Some mechanical thing broke inside on the first day of use. To fix it,
the case needed to be removed (invalidating the warranty).
b) The wheel never did and still doesn't have any centering forces
whatsoever.
c) It's very rough turning
d) Makes the most annoying whining noise I ever heard. It also makes
worrying 'Crashing' noises.
e) FF effects are weak.

Apart from that, it's well worth the 175. <vbg>

I do think TM makes good products but I didi just read an article that
talked about the milliseconds it takes to poll from the wheel to the cpu
and the TM was baaaad! Again from what I v'e read it seems the act labs
or logitech is the way to go ( for now).
