that Acclaim had lost the Ferrari license and F360 Challenge had been
cancelled long ago.  F355's physics are on par with Viper Racing.

Does anyone have any info on this rumour ?
I would think that it would be Force Feedback wheel enabled, which would
make it a step closer to the arcade version, which is outstanding.

Don't count on force feedback support. Epect a very standard conversion like
they did with crazy taxi.

Doh!  This says Europe only.
BTW, the Logitech wheel is now considered the "standard", so most, if
not all future driving games should support it, along with FF effects.
Several already do.

June 20, 2001
Sega officially announced today that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe
will publish seven of its PlayStation 2 games in Europe this year and
next. Although future games were not mentioned in the announcement, it's
believed that Sega and Sony might work closely in this same capacity in
the future.
All seven games, to be localized into five European languages, include
two Space Channel 5 games, Virtua Fighter 4, Ecco The Dolphin, Ferrari
F-355, and "K-Project." A Sega spokesperson added that at least two
games from this list will appear before Christmas in Europe. Sony will
handle all manufacturing, distribution and marketing for the games, as
well as localization into five European countries.

Not sure I agree. The arcade version had great FF support, so there's
no reason no to port that code to the PS2.

I think so to. Because of the phenomenal success of GT3, this wheel is
much more popular than typical console peripherals.

Even our totally-arcade driving game ("The Simpsons Road Rage") will
have full FF wheel support (i.e., real FF support, not just rumble
effects copied from the gamepad code).
