Papyrus next project?

My vote for Papyrus' next project would be IndyCar 2.0.  I'd love to have
the stereo sound, improved modeling, and other features from Nascar.

That said, I'm not sure why they would take on a project like Can Am cars,
DTM, rally, etc when the market for such is (it seems to me) smaller.

What are the most popular forms of auto racing in the world?  I'm sure
F1 is #1, and Microprose has that covered (although I'd love to see
competing F1 simulators).  IndyCar and NASCAR have to be in the top 5.

If we're dealing with smaller-market games, I'd like to see a good
karting sim.  Having played SuperKarts, I'd like to try something more
advanced.

Well Im not so sure about that, I definately think theres a big market out there
in Europe at least for some form of touring car simulator be it DTM or BTCC
or the Italian series, in Europe Touring Cars are second only to F1 now which
says alot about its popularity. Rally sims are going to be tough to do, at least
tough to do to get it right.

Papyrus next project?

<stuff deleted...>

Still a rumour, but rumours are fun;-)  World Rally Championship is
propably the best known rally competition in world, but what's the most
popular form of rally in US?  Maybe something on short tracks, similar
to european rally cross?  Writing track files for something like
Paris-Dagar, RAC or 1000 lakes takes lots of time (and possibly disk space)...

True but Papyrus havent really hit the European market yet, NASCAR especially
and Indycar to an extent are pretty much a US based thing, if they were to
produce a racing simulator that had worldwide appeal, which touring cars have for
the most part I reckon the market would be there.
