Self Policing Hawaii League/Series

by Larry Linthicu » Tue, 14 May 1996 04:00:00

I have an idea of forming a league for hawaii and would like
suggestions on tactics that would cut the wild driving AND the resulting
***ing to a minimum WITHOUT eliminating serious skill 0 drivers.
How about a new password each week.  Get three "official"
complaints filed against you and you're suspended for a week.  Three
suspensions and you're out for good.
To keep the ***ing down to the really serious matters it would
"cost" series points to file an "official" complaint.
Everyone in the league would use real name and provide everyone
else with their e-mail address to reduce cyerspace anonymity.  ( NO you
would NOT lose your skill rating relogging in your real name, just
create TWO id files and move them in or out of the Nascar directory )
Anybody got any ideas or any interest??  Shit happens, and I've
made a mistake or two myself, but I'm tired of the bash and crash crowd.
I've done a little real racing and it CAN be great fun dicing for last
place.  Hawaii can be a lot of fun for all skill levels that are willing
to watch out for the other guy and drive within their abilities.
Can we get a league going for people with similar ideas???
