HEY CONGRATS ED............

Yeah it`s cool isn`t it, I can really recommend this uncle thing to all
u guys out there, a lot of the fun and none of the "hassle", I just pop
over to my brother`s whenever I`m go into "uncle-mode" :-)

It DOES put things into a new perspective tough, doesn`t it ?

I became an uncle just before Christmas and it did improve my sim racing
actually, I don`t put that much of an importance on it now, and
therefore I have a more relaxed attitude towards this "winning thing",
my consistency sky-rocketed because I wasn`t trying to win ALL the time
:-)

Le Mans, nope, but a BTCC meeting is in the works, got to go and cheer
on Tommy and Roger, don`t know where and when yet, but I`ll be utterly
dissapointed if it doesn`t happen

Anyone know if you can get into the paddock area in the BTCC meetings ?

Beers and cheers

Hi,
I'm from Germany, Koblenz, near to the famous Nrburgring ( My girl-friend
lives about 5km from the ring !! ).
Cant wait to drive through the Karussel and Brnnchen in virtuality with the
cars from GPL, 'till now I only got around the Nordschleife on my
Mountain-Bike, 'cause getting around by car in reality could be very costly
[ there is no insurance when you crash your "real" car on the Nordschleife]
But, when I remind my laps at the glen in GPL-demo, i think, it will take me
some years to do one lap on the Nordschleife without crashing with the GP1
car ;-).

I'm from the UK (England), I live in Bromly, which is on the outskirts
of London, and I am quite near the old F1 circuit of Brands Hatch, which
is now used for Touring Car Racing, etc.

And as you probably know, us Brit's love almost *all* kinds of motor
sports: F1, Touring Car, Rallying, Motocross, Hill Climbing, 1/4 mile
drag racing, racing in cars, karts, bikes, boats, planes and anything
else you care to think of? Hell, some of us even like Nascar & Indy Car
Racing!!!!!

Hi,
Is the racing coverage from North America any good over in the UK?
They showed the CART race twice here in Canada!  Once with the ESPN
commentary on TSN and again with ABC commentary late night on CBC.  I
watched both! (I wanted to hear Danny Sullivan's reaction to Greg Moore's
incredible pass with 5 laps to go! Greg Moore can sure control the car
well in those types of situations!).  F1 coverage is also good here, I'am
looking forward to Monaco, I hope it equalizes the cars a lot more!

John

Well, it seems as though R.A.S. is pretty cosmopolitan...I`m from Portugal,
a little, uninteresting place called Odivelas. Racing here is an affaire for
the well-to-do, which means the very few...Only some Saloon Tropheys and
Formula Ford, but some interesting off-road racing and rallying.

I was starting to wonder if there was anyone else from atlantic Canada
here!  What's your favorite racing sim/game? (I really like GP2 and N2,
both haven't been off my HD in ages!  I'am sure when/if I ever :) upgrade
my computer, GLP will go to the top of my list (I'll upgrade my computer
just to try the 'Ring! isn't it 14km long, and I thought Sears Point in
N2 was hard!)
