Just hit space and it should go on. Or if you don't want the video to
appear at all, reinstall the NASCAR sims under a full install, then just
simply don't put the CD in the drive when you wanna play.

    Just delete *.smk in the Sierra\Nascar (or Nas50th or Nr1999 or
whatever).  Nascar Racing doesn't care and you'll retrieve quite a bit of
disk space!

Remove the following line . . . . (or put rem in front of it . . .)

smackply nr1999.smk /U1 /N

in the batch file used to start up.
