Don't know how many of you have seen this already, but this is a really
neat utility for GPL camera control.

For those with fast connections, be sure to also download the video that
provides a sample of it's capabilities (about 13 Megs)

Does anybody know how to do the Matrix mode with CCM and GPL2AVI?  I can
figure out how to pause gpl and keep the camera moving.  And you're right,
this is a great util, I flew to the Nurburgring Castle :)

Yep.
I made 2 short movies of matrix mode.

You need the latest (v1.7) of GPL2AVI.
This also has a matrix mode setting.

Pause the replay and move the camera to where you want it. Press 'S' to
go into single step mode in CCM. Then press F9 and gpl2avi then goes
into matrix mode. It keeps capturing the movie at single frame intervals
in slowmo whilst you can still move the camera around with the standard
CCM controls. When you've done your matrix bit just press F4 to carry on
capturing at normal speed.

You can also do the matrix stuff at faster speeds by not using single
step mode but the results are a bit more jerky as you have to 'fly' in realtime.

GPLN4 Movie Studio 2 is much faster than GPL2AVI and future version will

Movie Studio does support CCM now, and the future, "official" release
version will have nice informational overlays and help files for capturing
matrix clips etc. :)

Kirk,

You first press "S" to put CCM into single-step mode, this syncs
it to GPL2AVI. Then you press F9 in GPL2AVI (providing you have the
latest release that has this feature) which works just as F4 (record)
does but GPL stays frozen.

You can tell if it's working as your camera movement will be
significantly slower.

Thanks for the help guys, I didn't realized that I didn't have the latest
version of GPL2AVI, think I'll try out MovieStudio too.
