NFS3 no-cd??

For months I've tried the NFS3 (US) no-cd patch on gamecopyworld, but it
doesn't work. Can anybody point me to some other source (or send it to me)?

I haven't looked myself, but www.megagames.com might have some
different cracks.

Could your lack of success be peripherally related to the "first drive"
problem?

Suppose you had two CD drives, a 6X CD writer as drive Y and a 48X CD-ROM as
Z.

Even if you install NFS from the Z drive and leave the CD there, it would
insist you place the CD in the Y drive to play the game.

EA recognized this problem and put out a patch for it.  If you think this
may be related to the problem you are having, I can stick the patch up on my
FTP for you and you can give it a shot.

I'll check into it again, daxe. I think it was that one no-cd patch didn't
work, but I probably needed a different one and the link to that doesn't
work, in fact is freezes my computer. The link hasn't worked in months and
I've emailed them about it, but it still doesn't work.
