Help with split-axes on my pedals

by Hans » Tue, 30 Nov 1999 04:00:00

Hi!

I just wondered if it's possible for me to change my steering wheel
so that I get split-axis on the pedals.
I use a LWFF on the USB and a Dexxa wheel/pedals on the joyport
of the SBLive. I don't want to use the LWFF pedals as the other ones give
much better feel. I think the dexxa is fully compatible with the
Thrustmaster wheels at least the GP1 as I can use their drivers.

Regards,

you can either rewire your pedals to the logitech (that's what I
did with my CH non-pro pedals - much worth it!) or you have to
modify your pedals if the don't support split-axis out of the
box. you may have to get a different joystick cord or a new plug
plus cable and some basic soldering skills ;-)

Just an FYI to all that the ACT LABS RS does support independent pedal
axes.

Help with split-axes on my pedals

Hi All,

Just to add a bit of clarification to the previous FYI post by Raymond
("the new guy" - he he):

The ACT LABS Force RS will support independent pedals when you use the
later drivers (currently v1.23).

The ACT LABS RS (our non-force-feedback wheel) will not do independent
pedals unless you also have the RS Shifter for the RS (which comes
with a special new cartridge to replace the standard one - the new
cartridge  integrates the shifter, allows independent pedals and has a
USB or gameport connection).

Zenon - ACT LABS
