Toca2 and another PC and cheat codes

by Petr » Tue, 15 Jun 1999 04:00:00

I recently bought TOCA2 and would like to know if I need two copies of the
game to network the game?  I have two PC's in my home and would like to know
if I can play head to head without buying another copy?  At first I thought
I may be able too since I was able to select network and it recognized the
other PC but I just could not push start to play the race (is there a trick
to this?).  This may be a stupid question, with copyright issues, but the
instructions that came with the game are so poor.  Has anyone accomplished
this?

Also, how do you make the cheat codes work?

Thanks

Pete

You need to do a *full* install on one (the fastest) pc, and a *network*
install on the other pc. When you first set-up the game you have to choose
which option to install.

You can then network the two games together using a LAN.

To enter the cheats, simply type them in at the players name screen, type
the cheat instead of a name, and if successful you will hear "Cheat
enabled" being said by the commentator. You can enter as many cheats as
you like one after the other, then enter your name to start the game.
